The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, receives this Monday from the board of directors of the National Assembly headed by its president, Deputy Jorge Rodríguez, the notification of the Beginning of the Period of Sessions 2023 – 2024.
The act takes place from the Boyacá Hall of the Miraflores Palace, in Caracas. Accompanying the Head of State, the first female combatant of the Republic and Deputy to the National Assembly, Cilia Flores, along with Delcy Rodríguez, Vice President of the Republic, among other representatives of the National Executive.
Also present are parliamentarians Blanca Eekouth, Nicolás Maduro Guerra, Hugbel, Roa, Ángel Rodríguez, José Bernabé Gutiérrez, Juan Carlos Alvarado and Javier Bertucci.
Let us remember that during the first plenary session of the National Assembly held this Thursday, January 5, as established by the National Constitution, the deputy was ratified as president for a new parliamentary period 2023-2024 Jorge Rodriguez.
The first Vice-Presidency will be assumed by Deputy Pedro Infante and the second Vice-Presidency by Deputy América Pérez, both from the Bloque de la Patria.
The proposal of the Bloque de la Patria in support of the nomination of the citizen Rosalba Gil as secretary of the National Assembly for the period 2023-2024 and the proposal of the Bloque de la Patria in support of the nomination of the citizen María Alejandra Hernández as the sub-secretary of the National Assembly for the period 2023-2024.
The swearing in of the president of the National Assembly for the 2023-2024 legislative period, Jorge Rodríguez, was in charge of spokespersons for popular power.
