In an atmosphere of solemnity and institutional joy, the Educational Plaza of the Police Institute of Higher Education (IPES) was the scene this Friday of the official celebration of the promotions of hundreds of agents, after their outstanding participation in the military and police parade on February 27.
The day, which began with the rigor typical of national festivities, gave way to a manifestation of collective joy when the men and women of the institution received confirmation of their new hierarchies. According to the authorities present, these promotions represent recognition of the sacrifice, the vocation for service and the ethical performance shown in their respective functions.
Recognition of professional merit
The event was marked by moments of high emotion. Between hugs and congratulations, the promoted officers highlighted that this milestone marks a before and after in their professional careers.
“This promotion is the result of years of dedication and a renewed commitment to citizen security,” said one of the agents present during the celebration at the Educational Plaza.
The confirmation of the ranks occurred immediately after the grand parade, where the police delegation exhibited its discipline before the national authorities.
