“Not betraying the struggle of the peoples” is the best tribute to the anti-imperialist legacy of Commander Hugo Chávez, asserted the Bolivian leader Evo Morales on the tenth anniversary of the physical departure of his “brother and companion in struggle.”
From the Teresa Carreño Theater, located in Caracas, he pointed out that, like Fidel Castro Ruz, if there is any lesson to be learned from the revolutionary exercise of the leader of the Bolivarian Revolution, it is “never negotiate with the enemies of life, of humanity” who bid for destabilizing the peoples who fly the banners of self-determination.

In this sense, he stressed the solidarity nature of the Commander Hugo Chavezwhose concrete expression is found in the development of the Miracle Mission in Bolivia, which has benefited around 700,000 people with free interventions.
“That is Chávez, that is Fidel,” Morales stressed during the World Meeting: Validity of the Bolivarian thought of Commander Hugo Chávez in the 21st century, highlighting the unconditional support that both gave him at the beginning of his political career.
Morales emphasized that, currently, the ideal way to demand the delivery of Hugo Chávez to the people “is to be a revolutionary and to be a revolutionary is to be anti-imperialist.”
On the other hand, the indigenous leader expressed his admiration for the Venezuelan people, given their ability to resist the aggressive maneuvers that are taking place from abroad.
“He already defeated the North American empire. The Bolivarian Revolution in Venezuela triumphs and Bolivia, as the favorite daughter of Simón Bolívar, we are here accompanying and will always accompany this revolutionary people”, he highlighted.
Skerrit: Chávez is alive, strong and moving forward
In this sense, Skerrit pointed out that it is necessary “always preserve the unity that he taught us”.
The Prime Minister of the Commonwealth of Dominica, Roosevelt Skerrit, referred to Commander Hugo Chávez as a sincere and honest man. He stressed that “Chávez is not dead, he lives among us, it is essential for us to continue his legacy”.
He conveyed sincere congratulations to President Nicolás Maduro. He stressed that the Venezuelan president has known how to lead the Venezuelan people with the same dignity that President Chávez did.
Skerrit also expressed that the integration process promoted by Chávez “He’s alive, he’s strong and he’s moving forward”.
He expressed his solidarity with the people of Venezuela and condemned the sanctions that imperialism has imposed on the country. “No sanction that is imposed on the people of Venezuela will be able to break them,” he stressed.
