Former President Evo Morales considered this Friday that the inauguration of César Siles as the new Minister of Justice “responds to a political quotation (from vice president) David Choquehuanca, since the new authority was an official of the Chancellery.”
He added that the new minister, likewise, “is the main author of his disqualification as a candidate for senator” and that he is also “engaged in corruption cases.”
“One of (those corruption cases) is related to the purchase of a house for the Choquehuanca family,” Morales stated through his account on X.
“It is very clear that his designation, message and objective is intended to arrest our leading sisters and brothers, as it already began with the illegal arrest of colleagues from Caranavi, Oruro and, on Thursday, in Potosí,” he added.
