For 22 years, the country has not registered inflation as high in June as the one reported by the National Department of Statistics this 2022.
According to data from the entity, the country had a monthly variation of 0.51%. Which means an annual CPI of 9.65% at the national level.

Now, among the contributions that had the most impact on this rise were the restaurants and hotels (1.06%), then goods and services for the home (0.96%) and clothing and footwear (2.64%).
In the case of food, those that contributed the most to the increase in the monthly variation were beef and meat derivatives (0.07%) and poultry meat (0.03). A year ago, in 2021, it was poultry and eggs.
On the other hand, the foods that had the least effect It was the potatoes and the tomato.
Dane analyzes show that the CPI in the year has been driven by a significant rise in the price of food and alcoholic beverages. Trend that went down a bit in June.
It is in the case of beef that came with a rising trend and in the last three reports, presented negative contributions. Contrary to what happens with milk, which since July 2021 has been showing a significant increase in its price and in June it had a variation of 37.72%.
A similar case is that of rice, which since January 2022 has shown an increase in its price with a variation of 16.68%.
