Everest Insurance International launches operations in Colombia

Everest announced the start of operations of its local entity in Bogotá, as Everest Compañía de Seguros Generales Colombia SA, after having obtained all the authorizations required by regulation from the Colombian Financial Superintendence.

Mauricio Ocampo Gómez, Country Manager, will lead a team that will focus its efforts on providing exceptional service and tailored solutions to meet the different needs of companies with a presence in the region. The launch of Everest in Colombia is a significant step in its strategic expansion in Latin America, following its recent opening in Mexico.

“We will begin operations in Colombia with a broad and deep offering of innovative products and a high-level underwriting team with a deep understanding of the needs of the local market, empowered to provide a high-standard service to our clients and brokers,” said Ocampo.

Everest’s Bogotá office will offer a range of insurance products and risk management solutions, tailored for relevant industries, including property, liability and financial lines products.
