“In the case of laboratories, more support is needed from the authorities so that they can be certified as evaluators of the conformity of various standards according to their sector,” he said when participating in the Second National Quality Forum.

He pointed out that institutions such as the Dominican Quality Institute (Indocal) need to continue equipping themselves, at a technical level and in terms of human capital, to carry out timely audits and issue certifications to entities.
