The Colombo-Venezuelan international analyst María Fernanda Barreto denounced that some European foundations finance organizations and leaders in Latin America to promote speeches that attack the leftist governments that are in power, specifically in Venezuela, Cuba and Nicaragua.
During an interview offered to VTV, Barreto explained that, although these foundations receive support from leftist and progressive parties, their agendas are not consistent with speech. He put as an example to the Rosa Luxembourg Foundation, which receives financing from the German Left Party, Die Linke.
“There are people who defend that there is no intervention in Venezuela, but there are others within Die Linke, who have even requested more unilateral coercive measures and foreign intervention,” said the analyst.
