Ethiopia congratulates President Maduro on his re-election

Ethiopian President Sahle-Work Zewde sent a letter to the president Nicolas Maduro to congratulate him on his victory in the elections of July 28.

Through its account On the social network Instagram, the head of state shared the letter.

“I am very pleased to receive the support of Sahle Work Zewde, President of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia, in the framework of greeting the victory of peace of the Venezuelan people,” he said.

He also said that they will continue to promote work and cooperation, in brotherhood, “prioritizing our relations with the countries of Mother Africa.”

In her letter, the Ethiopian president expressed her confidence that “the relations between our two countries will be further strengthened in the coming years.”

“I take this opportunity to express my best wishes to Your Excellency and to the people of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela,” he reiterated.
