On February 12 artists and family will meet in the Wizink Center (Movistar Arena from Madrid) to pay tribute to singer -songwriter Pablo Milanés. “Eternally Paul” is the name of the concert, and is part of the program of the Star Festival.
So far, Andrés Suárez, Ara Malikian, Estrella Morente, José Mercé, Martirio, Raúl Rodríguez, Massiel, Passion Vega, Víctor Manuel, Lynn Milanés and Salvador Sobral are some of the 15 artists who have confirmed presence in the appointment.
Under the direction of Miguel Núñez And Esteban Puebla in the orchestra, the guest artists will review the best known and beloved themes of Pablo’s musical repertoire, born in Bayamo in 1943.
The author of “Yolanda”, “The brief space in which you are not”, “beginning and end of a green morning”, and other iconic songs of the song and the Cuban trova, would complete 82 years on February 24.
His family wanted to pay tribute once again to his life and work, that Paul personally shared with the Cubans in which it would be His last great concertoccurred on June 21, 2022 in the Sports City of Havana.
