“In the Iquitos hospital of EsSalud we have 15 people hospitalized for dengue, including children, pregnant women and adults. We are going to strengthen prevention efforts to prevent the spread of cases. We will also strengthen health services in the face of the possibility that the number of infected will increase.“, he pointed.
The Social Health Insurance (EsSalud) will implement an action plan to strengthen health services and at the same time promote work for the prevention and care of dengue in Loreto, a region where in recent days there has been an increase in cases of this disease viral.
It was announced that the plan to improve health services in Loreto will include an increase in hospital supply, human resources and modernization of medical equipment, among other actions.
Dr. Fonseca Espinoza also pointed out that steps have been taken to recover a land of more than 120,000 square meters, located in the district of San Juan Bautista, where it is planned to build a modern specialized hospital.
