The counting of votes began in Espírito Santo. So far, Renato Casagrande (PSB) is ahead with 47.78% of the valid votes. Manato (PL) is in second place, with 41.04% of valid votes.
So far 12.85% of the polls have been counted.
José Renato Casagrande, 61 years old, current governor of Espírito Santo, was born in the municipality of Castelo (ES). He holds a degree in forestry engineering from the Federal University of Viçosa (UFV) and a degree in law from the Faculty of Law of Cachoeiro de Itapemirim. He is married and has two children. He was a senator, federal deputy, vice governor and state deputy. The vice on the plate is former senator and businessman Ricardo Ferraço, 59 years old.
Businessman Carlos Humberto Mannato, 65, is the candidate for the PTB/PL coalition. He was elected federal deputy in 2014. The vice on the ticket is businessman Bruno Lourenço, 39, from the same party.
