With 88% progress, construction work is still underway at the República de Venezuela School and the Bolívar Commercial Institute, located in the district of Calidonia, in the capital city.
According to the director of Engineering and Architecture, María Pineda, it is estimated that the work, whose final amount is B/.21,837,390.73, will be delivered in the middle of this year.
Meanwhile, the Academic Vice Minister, Agnes de Cotes, pointed out that the project includes ‘Study, design, development of plans and construction of the República de Venezuela School and the Bolívar Commercial Institute.
Currently, finishing activities are carried out on the site that include supply and installation of ceiling, granite topping, tiles, air conditioning system, roof structure and general masonry work.
Roberto Sevillano Shin, Administrative Vice Minister, explained that the scope of the project – for the more than 600 students of the Escuela República de Venezuela – covers around 28 theoretical classrooms and one maximum, laboratories, library, among others.
While, at the Bolívar Commercial Institute, more than a thousand students are contemplated, 24 classrooms, 16 laboratories, a maximum classroom, a library, among other spaces.
During the construction of the school project, students have received the teaching-learning process in the Poli building.
