Today they made official what has been a rumor for a couple of days. The president’s main escort, the First Technical Non-Commissioned Officer of the Police, Ruth Ligarda Castro has been designated as auxiliary personnel to the Embassy of Peru in Spain. That is, they reward her with a position that every police officer seeks.
The scandalous thing is that non-commissioned officer Ligarda is a witness in the tax investigation for the “El Cofre” case, where Vladimir Cerrón is suspected of using a presidential vehicle to escape from Lima. The president would have been directly involved in this escape process.
