"Escape, escape blues": videos circulate of how they prevent the entry of Evo and his companions to Chamaca, Yungas

“Escape, escape blues, under the bridge there may be a field for you”is the phrase that is heard from a woman who recorded how yesterday the cocaleros of the municipality of Chamaca in Los Yungas push back the vehicles that, supposedly, were transporting former president Evo Morales and his companions, who tried to enter La Asunta to dictate a political training workshop.

The video broadcast on social networks shows some women dressed in blue running in the opposite direction to which they were going and at least three vehicles moving at speed.

“At this moment, they make the masistas escape, damned. That is what was wanted and Chamaca took the case. No masista comes to govern in Chamachathat’s been said,” says the woman.

The former president managed to enter Santa Rosa and Irupana yesterdayaccording to his own posts on Facebook, but not to La Asunta, in Los Yungas, where he was declared persona non grata and an enemy of the cocaleros.

“Sisters and brothers, now I have not arrived, but in the next one we will plan and we will enter, We are going to get to La Asunta by helicopter“, promised Morales in telephone contact.

Another video shows how they push back the Evo Morales commission and a man who goes after the vehicles says: “Where is that killer? We don’t want to see them here.”

The division of the MAS reached the social organizations. The cocaleros of Los Yungas are no exception, since some renovating parliamentarians and evistas, separately, have their representation and support in their communities.

Despite the fights, it is expected that on March 26 a rapprochement between Morales and President Luis Arce, who have distanced themselves since July of last year, will take place.
