Laura Angeles Gómez is the new Chief Officer; Maribel Bojorges Beltrán is the prosecutor specialized in Crimes of Violence against Women, Groups in a Situation of Vulnerability and Human Trafficking (FEVIMTRA), and Richard Urbina Vega will be head of the Specialized Prosecutor’s Office for Internal Affairs.
Ulises Lara López is the head of the Special Prosecutor’s Office for Investigation of Relevant Matters and Julio César Bonilla Gutiérrez is the head of the Specialized Unit in Transparency and Government Openness.
Other appointments are those of Claudia Luengas Escudero, as general advisor; Oliver Ariel Pilares Viloria, as head of the Special Prosecutor’s Office for Investigation of Tax Crimes and the Financial System; and Omar Cruz Juárez, as head of the Social Communication Unit.
The appointments are in addition to those of Héctor Elizalde Mora, who heads the Criminal Investigation Agency (AIC) and César Oliveros Aparicio, who heads the Specialized Prosecutor’s Office for Organized Crime (FEMDO).
Cruz Juárez was director of Communication in the CDMX Prosecutor’s Office when Godoy was in charge, while Pilares Viloria was general coordinator of Territorial Investigation in the same department during that period.
In the case of Angeles Gómez, she was Administration Coordinator in the capital’s Godoy Prosecutor’s Office.
For their part, Luengas and Jiménez Vázquez were Ernestina’s deputy advisors when she was in charge of the Presidential Council of Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo.
Ulises Lara was spokesperson for the CDMX Prosecutor’s Office during the Godoy period, and then replaced her when the Congress of the capital did not ratify her in office.
César Oliveros and Héctor Elizalde, who have key positions in the new FGR, worked closely with Omar García Harfuch, secretary of federal Security.
For their part, Urbina and Bojorges also worked in the CDMX Prosecutor’s Office during Ernestina’s time.
