Derlis Osorio, a Colorado senator, reported to the Attorney General’s Office about the insinuation he received to “help” Erico Galeano in a debt with a former player wanted in the Operative Extremely Py.
1000 AM reported that during a meeting with Ezequiel Barreto, Osorio’s co-religionist, the mention that the senator received for “helping” Erico Galeano in a debt with the former Deportivo Capiatá player, Sebastián Marcet, who is being sought in the framework of the Operative Extremely Py.
Supposedly, in exchange for said money, Galeano would join the ranks of the ruling party and this would have presumably happened before the aforementioned operation was known, which disrupted a drug distribution system abroad.
In turn, it is specified that Osorio would have received last year the current head of Deportivo Capiatá Ezequiel Barreto at his home, who at that time intended to present himself as a pre-candidate for departmental councilor for the ruling Colorado movement. It was during this visit that Barreto would have mentioned to the Marist senator that Galeano could join his side.
In this sense, what the deputy would have requested, through Barreto, was US$ 500,000 as a quick loan, which should be sent to the former capiateño player Sebastián Marcet, who was detained in Dubai.
Osorio points out that he delivers this information to the Prosecutor’s Office because he considers it of vital importance for the investigation against Galeano.
