Santiago Rodríguez. – He Army of the Dominican Republic (ERD) reported that, during a patrol operation carried out herein province, members of the institution intercepted a van in which six were being transported haitian nationals in condition irregular migration.
The vehicle, a truck Toyota Tacoma blue, plate L250197 was led by Donald Pie of Haitian nationality, who was detained at the scene.
During the request, the authorities seized the driver for the sum of RD$357,000.00 in cash.
The undocumented aliens detained, two men and four women all without valid documentation, were transferred to military custody to the ERD detachment in Santiago Rodríguez for the corresponding legal fines, in accordance with current laws and procedures.
