The cases are located in the popular councils of both municipalities.

Both diseases present symptomatology similar, which is why the authorities ask you to go to the doctor immediately.
In mid-July, health authorities confirmed the presence of the Oropouche virus in that western province. The infected patients were registered in the provincial capital, mainly in the Raúl Sánchez health area, in the Celso Maragoto People’s Council.
Andrés Villar, provincial director of Hygiene and Epidemiology, said that the presence of the virus was initially detected in three patients who presented symptoms attributed to Oropouche. Pinar del Río was one of the few provinces where no cases of the virus had been confirmed. viruss.
