Enzo Fernández comes out well from his racist episode

The Argentine Enzo Fernandez will not receive any sanction from the English Federation (FA) for the racist chant against French players which he did during the celebration of the Copa América won last July.

The Chelsea player sang a few seconds of a chant with racist content against the French in a live broadcast on social media, which provoked negative reactions from his teammates, including the French. Wesley Fofana, Malo Gusto or Axel Disasi, who called the act racist and unfollowed him on social media.

Chelsea did not punish him either

Enzo He apologised to his teammates and donated money to an anti-racism charity, which is why he was not suspended by Chelsea.

Since the events occurred when the player was with Argentina, he will not be investigated by the FA, the same case as that of Rodrigo Hernandez, who was sanctioned by UEFA for a match with the Spanish national team for his chants with Alvaro Morata over Gibraltar in celebration of winning the European Championship.
