‘Entrevías’, starring Cuban Laura Ramos, premieres its final season

MADRID, Spain.- The successful Spanish series Interviewsstarring José Coronado and featuring Cuban actress Laura Ramos, premieres its fourth and final season this Monday, September 2 on Telecinco at 10:50 p.m. (Spanish time). The series, which has captured the attention of an international audience, promises an intense and emotional conclusion to the story of Tirso Abantos, played by Coronado.

This new season revolves around the consequences of the shocking events of the third installment, especially in relation to Irene (Nona Sobo), Tirso’s granddaughter. The latter now faces new threats while trying to solve the unknowns that were left pending. Tirso Abantos, a man of principles and ex-military, returns to his old ways in a desperate attempt to protect his family and his neighborhood, an environment that has been central to the plot of the series.

In addition to the television premiere of the first episode, the season will be officially presented at the FesTVal in Vitoria on September 3, one day after its broadcast on Telecinco.

The fourth season introduces two new characters that add even more tension to the narrative: Camila, played by Catalina Sopelana, who becomes Ezequiel’s (Luis Zahera) new patrol partner, and René, played by Juan Pablo Shuk, a man who could change the fate of the neighborhood.

Laura Ramos, who plays Gladys in the series, has played a pivotal role throughout the seasons. Gladys is a strong woman whose life is intertwined with the conflicts affecting the neighborhood, providing a unique perspective on issues such as immigration and the struggle for survival. Ramos’ performance has been highly praised by critics, leading her to be named the new cast member. nominated for Best Drama Actress at the Almería International Film Festival (FICAL) last November.

In a post in early 2024, Ramos had already anticipated that this fourth installment would be “strong” and “very beautiful.” In the days leading up to the premiere, the actress shared the trailer of the new season on their social networks and expressed his emotion: “This coming September 2nd we will premiere on @telecincoes @mediasetcom the 4th and final season of our beloved ‘Entrevías’. For Netflix we have to wait a little longer, but I hope it will be very soon! I know many are waiting for it! For now we will see you on open TV, tell me what you think!”

The previous three seasons of Interviews are available on Netflix, where they have enjoyed great success. The first season ranked in the top 10 in audiences in 71 countries, including Spain, France, Brazil and the United States, while the second season broke audience records on the platform, accumulating 34.63 million hours of viewing during its first week.

Laura Ramos, 46 years old, is remembered in Cuba for her participation in the series Four seasons in Havana and the films The prophecies of Amanda and Operation Fangio. In 2022, She was honored with the Latin Excellence Award in Spainin recognition of his outstanding professional career and artistic achievements.
