Entities complain about the ultra -to the hymn

Santo Domingo.-The Permanent Commission of Ephemeris Homelands and the Duartian Institute complained yesterday against Yoseli Castillo Fuertes and other people under the accusation of having outraged the national symbols, with the alternation of the letters of the national anthem.

Juan Pablo Uribe, president of the Patrias Ephemeris Commission, requested an exhaustive investigation to determine the criminal responsibility of all those involved in the fact.

The complaint was filed before the Attorney General’s Office with the objective that this action is not unpunished.

Uribe described the fact as a serious transgression that affects the constitution, social and historical sensitivity, and the institutional rituals of the nation.

The president of the agency said that the outrage to the national anthem constitutes a “severe attack” to the memory of its authors, teachers José Reyes and Emilio Prud’homme, as well as the father of the country, Juan Pablo Duarte and Díez.

Duartian complaint
The Duartian Institute formalized another complaint with the Attorney General’s Office and the Fiscal Attorney’s Office of the National District against Yoseli Castillo Fuertes, activist of the LGBTQ+group, whom they accuse of outrage and insult to the national anthem.

For the entity, the young woman committed a delectable action, committed with unequivocal rudeness, which inflicts “a deep injured” in the patriotic feeling of the Dominicans.

The president of the institution, Wilson Gómez Ramírez, stressed that this fact threatens the respectability, honor and memory of the Dominicans.

He recalled that, although the Constitution protects the right to free expression, its exercise is subject to respect for the honor, dignity and morals of people and institutions, so they will ensure that the Public Ministry and the Judiciary apply “the major ranges of sanctions.”

Finjus warns national symbols deserve respect
Defense. The Institutionality and Justice Foundation said that “the inviolability of national symbols is not a simple legal mandate, but a civic and moral duty.”

“Its use and exhibition must be guided by respect, solemnity and observance of the norms established in the Constitution and in Law 210-19,” he added.

He said that any improper use, alteration or use for purposes contrary to their nature and meaning violates the normative framework that protects them, undermined the legal good of national identity and affects constitutional values.
