With the aim of stimulating the transfer of knowledge in areas related to innovation and technological development, the National Institute for Professional Technical Training (Infotep), signed agreements with the National Office of Intellectual Property (Onapi), the Air Force of the Dominican Republic (FARD) and the Government Office of Information and Communication Technology (Ogtic).
The three agreements are national in scope and will have a duration of two years.
The agreement signed with Ogtic, through the Innovation Cabinet, seeks to create a culture of innovation, through professional technical training, with a view to promoting competitiveness and sustainability in the country.

While the l signed with the FARD, the institutions agree to coordinate efforts to develop a comprehensive education and training program, in favor of the population surrounding the facilities of the air institution, with the purpose of providing them with the necessary tools to insert themselves in the labor market with the current requirements demanded by society or starting a business.
Also in the agreement with Onapi wills are addedin order to promote mutual collaboration through the exchange of knowledge and training, recognizing the value of innovation, and the impact it has on the economy of promoting Industrial Property activities and adding technological value to micro, small and medium businesses.
Through the agreement with Onapi, Infotep will provide for the training and updating of its Innovation Managers, as well as assistance and exchange of methodology in the creation of innovation or entrepreneurship projects, on issues related to the Registration of Distinctive Signs, Invention Patents, Utility Models and Industrial Designsamong others.
