The congressman of Podemos Peru and second vice president of Congress, Henry Wongstated that he would give the vote of confidence to the Council of Ministers chaired by Aníbal Torres “in the hope” that the head of state, Pedro Castillo, makes changes in questioned portfolios, such as Health.
Speaking to the press outside Parliament, Wong Pujada specified that his bench has not yet made a decision regarding the investiture vote.
“In my particular case, I do believe that we should give him a vote of confidence in the hope that the president will be able to (resolve) (…) the case of the Minister of Health.
