Enrique Márquez supported the initiative proposed by Ramón Guillermo Aveledo for an amnesty law in the country
The former presidential candidate and former rector of the National Electoral Council, Enrique Márquez, stated this Sunday, November 10, that there is a need to join efforts to achieve the freedom of all those detained by the demonstrations generated after the elections, as well as all political prisoners in the country.
Through the social networksMárquez warned that currently we are going through a moment where the authorities want to set aside respect for Human Rights and, in that sense, he urged efforts to return to what is established in the Constitution and can once again be considered. .
The former rector of the CNE in turn responded to a message from the former executive secretary of the Unity Board Ramón Guillermo Aveledo, who urged people to consider an amnesty law as a “sensible solution” to the current situation the country is going through.

“This initiative supported by the mothers of political prisoners does not remove anyone from their agenda and promises good news to many families,” Aveledo said.

He Saturday November 9the opposition presidential candidate Edmundo González Urrutia welcomed the formation in Venezuela of a Committee for the release of political prisoners, an organization that he believes raises its voice in favor of those detained unjustly and arbitrarily by the State security forces.
González Urrutia highlighted that Venezuelans continue to organize and protest to get their loved ones out of prison, as well as affirming that they continue to fight for everyone’s freedom; This is in response to the publications made by the account called “Committee for the release of political prisoners”, which the November 7th released images of a vigil by relatives of more than 900 political prisoners imprisoned in the Tocorón prison, in Aragua.
During the night, women gathered to ask for an end to the persecution against those who dissent from the administration of Nicolás Maduro. There, they placed candles on the floor forming the word freedom, along with photos of several of those imprisoned for reasons of conscience.
