Candidate Enrique Márquez urged the CNE to deal with “this issue seriously, since the presence of witnesses and members of the table is essential to guarantee the transparency of the process” on July 28. Earlier, the Unitary Platform denounced several irregularities and noted that “it seems that the system is designed to slow down the process.”
The presidential candidate for the Centrados party, Enrique Márquez, demanded that the National Electoral Council (CNE) resolve the technological obstacles for the accreditation of witnesses and members of the table for the presidential elections on Sunday.
In a message posted In his account on the social network X, Márquez recalled his complaint about the impediments of the system for the effective accreditation of electoral witnesses of his party. He assured that this Tuesday 23rd “the automated system of the CNE has been blocked intermittently and the conditions for the processing of as many credentials as are necessary have deteriorated.”
The former deputy urged the electoral body to address “this issue seriously, since the presence of witnesses and members of the table is essential to guarantee the transparency of the process” on July 28.
Earlier, the main witnesses of the Unitary Platform before the CNE, Delsa Solórzano and Perkins Rocha, also denounced irregularities in accreditations for the presidential elections, and noted that “it seems that the system is designed to slow down the process.”
They also commented that they are required to have only one witness per alliance, even though three main witnesses and three alternates are allowed. The Unitary Platform has registered problems with the accreditation of almost 100 thousand witnesses, due to difficulties with the QR code, which even causes problems for those who already have credentials.
