The gophers of Pachucain which the former azulgrana plays Jennifer Beautifulcame from behind to win 3-2 at Juarez FC of the Spanish coach Milagros Martínez, who was on the verge of elimination in the Apertura 2022 tournament of the Mexican Women’s Soccer League.

Juárez took over the game in the first third and after a mistake by Sumiko Gutiérrez, they went ahead on the scoreboard. At minute 9, Miah Zuazua, from the left, put in a service that Solís headed for 0-1.
Martínez’s hit the 17th again. A bad defensive pass allowed Blanca Solís to find a ball in the area and with her right foot put the score at 0-2.
Pachuca reacted after the second goal, but did not discount because Marta Cox’s shot with the open frame was rejected by a defense and goalkeeper Stefani Jiménez took a shot from Charlyn Corral.
Las Tuzas tried to win in the second half and they succeeded. At 52 Cox took advantage of a defensive rebound with his right leg to make it 1-2.
At 90+3, Pachuca tied. Mónica Ocampo, from the left, crossed a serve that Corral, with a karate-style kick, made it 2-2 at the far post.
Ocampo, at 90+6, shot a low shot from medium distance that bounced off Jiménez for the final 3-2.
Earlier this Sunday, Santos Laguna, led by a brace from Costa Rican Sofía Varela, defeated Puebla 1-3 and Atlas, with a goal from Costa Rican Carolina Venegas, beat Necaxa 0-2.
Last Saturday, Pumas UNAM thrashed León 4-0. On Friday, Cruz Azul beat Querétaro 0-1, Tijuana 1-0 against Toluca and Tigres UANL and Rayadas del Monterrey tied 2-2 in the regional derby.
