Engineer Rafael Montero assures that Panama is growing in the use of electronic invoicing

Engineer Rafael Montero, an expert in electronic invoicing, made a balance this Wednesday of how Panama is compared to other countries that have 100% electronic invoicing, assuring that we have grown, and several companies have seen a benefit with this alternative.

“Many companies have had certain problems when using fiscal printers. By already having a new alternative that you don’t need the fiscal printer to issue an invoice, everyone has seen that benefit and has turned to electronic invoicing,” he said.

He stated that since June 1, 2021, its use was already voluntary. “Let’s remember that electronic invoicing is not new in Panama and was implemented as of 2018 with the pilot plan in which voluntary companies decided to carry out the pilot,” he explained.
