At the end of his schedule in Dubai, president Jair Bolsonaro said today (15) that the National Secondary Education Examination (Enem) will take place in absolute tranquility. The application of the tests is scheduled for the 21st and 28th of this month.
After participating in a series of activities at Expo 2020 on Brazil Day, Bolsonaro commented on the departure of 37 servers, linked to commissioned positions, from the National Institute of Educational Studies and Research Anísio Teixeira (Inep) last week.
Officials claim that the requests for dismissal or dismissal from the position were due to the “technical and administrative weakness of the current top management at Inep” and that “this is not an ideological position or a union in nature.”
“I talked very quickly with Milton [Ribeiro, ministro da Educação]. It would be good for you to talk to them, which led to those layoffs. I don’t want to go into details, but what was spent with few people there is absurd,” said Bolsonaro.
“The questions of the Enem test are now beginning to take on the face of the government. Nobody is worried about those absurd issues from the past that fell through, writing topics that had nothing to do with anything. Really something geared towards learning”, he added.

Last week, the president of Inep, Danilo Dupas Ribeiro, had already ruled out the possibility of risks regarding the realization of the Enem.
“I reinforce that the applications are guaranteed, as the preparatory phases have already been completed, leaving the distribution of tests for their application”, he said, at the Education Commission of the Chamber of Deputies. “The tests are ready and the teams have already been trained. It’s all right, don’t worry,” he added.
