With the aim of being a relevant actor in the development and growth of the territories where Enel Generación carries out its operations, the company has signed a new collaboration agreement with the illustrious Municipality of Alto Biobío, whose main focus is to give continuity to the work together, with special attention to education, housing and habitability, access to energy and water for human consumption.
“We are proud to be able to sign a new agreement with the municipality of Alto Biobío, because this milestone marks the renewal of a long-term relationship between our company and the local authorities that represent the inhabitants of the territory, always with the objective of continuing developing initiatives that strengthen the growth of the community and of each one of the people who inhabit it”, assured James Lee Stancampiano, general manager of Enel Generación, adding that “Alto Biobío is a rich territory full of opportunities and as a company that has an important presence in it, we want to be an active part in everything that has to do with its growth, especially with regard to the quality of life and opportunities for its inhabitants”.
For his part, the mayor of Alto Biobío, Nivaldo Piñaleo Llaulén, assured that he was “Happy and grateful, because it has been an effort for the territory where we want to focus on basic needs that are so important that they are not yet covered in the territory, but that our challenge is to get to make big projects, big development issues, but with identity. Happy today, that with the company Enel, with James, who we have known each other for a long time, she has been a person who has not changed since I met her and that obviously gave me the confidence to be able to do joint work for the territory and that the company is also close to the indigenous communities, because it is the neighbor we have, the support we have to develop projects”.
It is worth mentioning that the initiatives promoted through this agreement seek the implementation of activities that contribute to the well-being of the inhabitants in general of the commune and its development, in a framework where, in line with the strategy of Enel Chile and its subsidiaries, the Sustainability is the fundamental pillar in the execution of any project.

During the term of the agreement, a technical group, made up of representatives of the Municipality of Alto Biobío and representatives of Enel Generación Chile, will work together to monitor the development of the initiatives, make decisions and ensure compliance with the objectives. sets.
