“We are in contact with (Donald) Trump and his team, with the Russians and the Ukrainians, as well as with the Europeans. At this moment they are very close to reaching an agreement,” said the diplomat.

Fidan indicated that the text that is finally agreed upon would be presented to the Ukrainian public and that it is a matter related to the internal dynamics of the country invaded by Russia in February 2022.
He also highlighted that in this process not only the Ukrainian president, Volodymyr Zelensky, is important, but also the will of the people of the invaded nation and the position of Europe.
The leader of Turkish diplomacy also referred to the problems that the conflict has generated in the Black Sea area and in the neighboring countries of that region, which includes his country.
The Turkish Defense Ministry announced that an unidentified drone, which had been out of control in that region for three days, entered Turkish airspace and was shot down by F-16 fighters in a safe area near Ankara.
