The measure will apply from May 1. “The use of face masks in closed spaces will be withdrawn with the exception of health services, nursing homes, transportation and closed spaces within educational facilities.”, Said the president after having advanced the meetings with the epidemiological committee.

As for travelers visiting Colombia, the president recommended arriving in the country with the full vaccination schedule. For those who do not meet this parameter, they will have to present a PCR or antigen test no more than 48 hours.

In addition, he announced the repeal of Decree 1615 of 2021, which eliminates the request for a vaccination card for massive public and private events. In turn, it will not be necessary to enter bars, gastropubs, nightclubs, museums, libraries, sporting events and others.
All biosafety measures will be eliminated, except for those that concern health services.
