Presidents and general secretaries of Encuentro Ciudadano approved this Friday the 27th, by acclamation, the candidacy of the president of that organization, Delsa Solorzanoto the opposition primary.
During the II Federal Congress of the organization, held in Caracas, representatives of the 23 delegations unanimously approved the proposal made by the party’s president in Zulia, Freddy Piña, to nominate Solórzano in the opposition elections to choose a presidential candidate. , still undated.
“The Venezuelan who assumes the leadership of the process of political change must gather a set of qualities such as: knowledge of the current situation and ability to face it, incorporating the best talent above partisan interests, dedication to work, proven honesty, social sensitivity , respect for people, in conclusion a human being who believes in God and loves Venezuela and in Delsa Solórzano we find all these qualities and virtues,” Piña said in his speech.
Solórzano thanked the decision and assured that it is the concretion of a job of years. “This is not four years old, there are more than 20 fighting for Venezuela, touring the country from end to end many times.”

The National Primary Commission, in charge of organizing these elections, has not specified if only the parties that make up the Unitary Platform will be able to participate in these elections or if Venezuelans abroad will be able to participate.
