The National Fund for Financing State Business Activity (Fonafe) appointed the new heads of the National Port Company (Enapu) and Agrobankas well as the new director of the Development Finance Corporation (Cofide).

Through Board of Directors agreement 001-2024/009-Fonafe, Juan Ramón Arrisueño Gómez de la Torre was elected president of Enapu at the proposal of the Ministry of Transport and Communications (MTC).
The new leader of the port company has held various positions such as general management of the National Port Authority (APN) and general management of Water Transport. He was also a member of the Ibero-American Network of Experts in Port Management.
For the presidency of Agrobanco, the public company chose Percy Medina Morales, an engineer and master in agribusiness. He was proposed by the Ministry of Agrarian Development and Irrigation (Midagri).
Medina has held several public positions, such as executive president of Sierra y Selva Exportadora (now Agromercado), director of the Agricultural Products sub-directorate, technical advisor to the Head of the National Institute of Agrarian Innovation, among others.
Meanwhile, Fonafe appointed lawyer Alberto Villanueva Eslava as director of Cofide on the recommendation of the Ministry of Economy and Finance (MEF).
