And this will be used by vulnerable people who will be able to train in the following weeks as part of the Chance to Add initiative and the Recovery and Inclusion Program for Economic and Social Improvement (PRIMES), of Cedarwhich also has the support of the Lima Chamber of Commerce, Confiep and USAID.
This initiative consists of a customer service course that, after starting this week, will run until June 23, and will allow, according to Cedro, “to learn to apply techniques and methods to identify solutions and proposals for customer satisfaction, following the specifications and standards of the company, developed in business management by business marketing”.
“This course has been developed to interact with people and offer the benefits of a product or service, or work in sales or customer service”reported the organization, specifying that the teaching will be given and certified by the Training Center for Development Santa Vicenta María.
Among the public that will benefit from job training are: People with disabilitiesmigrants and people from the LGBTIQ+ community.
“Once this course has been completed, people over 18 years of age and who have a computer with an Internet connection, after attending 12 live classes on Google Meet on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 7:45 a.m. to 9 p.m., will be able to solve more than 30,000 requests, between calls or consultations by electronic means, to achieve job placement in the large number of companies in Peru or abroad. This, in turn, will benefit people with disabilities, intercultural people, migrants, LGTTTBIQA+ and migrants who are totally unemployed,” Cedro said in a statement.
