The Ministry of Labor presented a new balance of the incentives for job creation, and reported that, since July 2021, and as of May of this year, the creation of 527,295 jobs thanks to these payroll incentives.

According to figures from the Pension and Parafiscal Management Unit (Ugpp), of this total number of jobs, 397,349 young people between 18 and 28 years old linked; 70,641 women over 28 years of age were integrated into the payroll and 59,305 men in the same age range.
Due to employers, the entity highlighted that there are 20,361 legal entities that are beneficiaries of this stimulus, while natural persons are 2,386. According to Mintrabajo, 80% of benefited employers are micro and small businesses from the country.
It was also revealed thate 11,058 microentrepreneurs benefited with the support of the National Government, 7,410 contributors from small businesses; 2,727 median; 848 those of large companies and 704 those of very large companies, likewise the highest contribution range corresponded to between 1 and 2 minimum wages with 61.5%.

“We are very satisfied with the results of the program and the good reception from employers, who are the ones who support this good news, we have been able to support them to generate new jobs especially for young people and thus contribute to the economic reactivation”, said the Minister of Labor, Ángel Custodio Cabrera.
