Pedernales.- The National Police reported on the arrest of Jeffrey Yulianny Colón Pérez (Yefri), 25 years old, accused of participating in the theft of RD$796,000 and US$500 in cash in the administrative offices of the Cabo Rojo Tourist Port.
The detainee, who was an employee of the Port of Cabo Rojo, was captured at his residence after arrest and search warrant No. 592-2026-00002-AP was issued.
During the operation, the authorities seized clothing items that match those worn by one of the assailants, according to recordings from the location’s security cameras.
