Emotional and massive march in honor of Marcelo Pecci

Hoy Paraguay

Prosecutors, former colleagues and close associates of Marcelo Pecci, marched this Friday in memory of the Public Ministry agent murdered in Colombia. An emotional act took place in front of the Pantheon of Heroes.

The call was given in front of the headquarters of the State Attorney General’s Office, under the slogan “March for courage and courage”, since the organizers stated that they were the qualities that characterized prosecutor Marcelo Pecci.

The activity was mostly attended by prosecutors and officials from the Public Ministry, who expressed their immense pain at the loss of Pecci at the hands of hit men on a beach in Cartagena, Colombia.

The representatives of the Public Ministry were joined by former colleagues of the prosecutor, both from school and university, as well as friends and citizens in general.

The march went from the headquarters of the Prosecutor’s Office to the National Pantheon of Heroes, where an act of homage to Pecci took place. Various authorities were present there, such as the attorney general, Sandra Quiñónez, family members such as the father, ministers, parliamentarians and friends.

One of those who spoke out was the prosecutor Lilian Alcaraz, who said that Marcelo Pecci “leaves the legacy of courage, honesty and commitment.”

“His loss makes us have to reconsider many issues as an institution,” he added.

The remains of prosecutor Pecci will arrive this Saturday at dawn in our country.
