Santo Domingo.– The Senate of the Republic chose on Tuesday Emma Polanco as President of the Account Chamberduring an ordinary session of the upper house.
Polanco, who previously served as the rector of the Autonomous University of Santo Domingo (UASD), will lead the supervisory body together with a new team that will remain in the position for a period of four years, as established by the Constitution of the Republic.
As vice president of the agency he was appointed Francisco Tamárez Florentinowho will integrate the management firm. They were also selected as members Francisco Franco, Ramón Méndez and Griselda Gómez.
