Emilia Esther Calleja will be the first female director of the CFE

Who is Emilia Esther Calleja Alor?

She is an Electronic Engineer from the Technological Institute of Celaya, and holds a Master’s degree in Administration and Senior Management from the Autonomous University of Coahuila. She specializes in administration, resource management and operations in the electrical industry; collaborating in various areas of the Federal Electricity Commission for more than 21 years.

He has diplomas in instrumentation and control, training administration, human relations, leadership and middle management training.

Engineer, currently general manager at the CFE Generación I Subsidiary Productive Company.

  • General superintendent of a thermoelectric generation plant.
  • Construction project manager for a new power plant.
  • Technical supervisor in instrumentation and control.
  • Head of the analysis and results department.
  • Head of the chemical and environmental operations department at the Celaya National Training Center.

  • Technical auditor in support of the Thermoelectric Generation Coordination of the Sub-directorate of Non-Regulated Businesses.
  • President of the Impartiality Committee of the Management Systems Certification Body.

He has worked in different institutions in the public and private sectors. His career and work experience focuses on operations within the energy generation process, failure analysis, installation, configuration and commissioning processes, environmental management systems, and administration of human, material and financial resources.
