He Official Fire Department has deployed a team composed of three fire extinguishing machines, 41 fire units and specialized forest fire teams in the area. Furthermore, they are used drones to monitor the situation and coordinate actions in real time.

The Local Mayor’s Office has indicated that the fire was reported around the 1:00 pm on Friday and has remained active throughout the night. It is suspected that the origin of the fire could be related to the detachment of a high tension cablealthough it is not ruled out that a bonfire could also have been the cause.
Enel Colombiathe electric company responsible for the infrastructure in the area, has indicated that after carrying out inspections, no significant damage was found in its lines. Local authorities are working in coordination with various entities to mitigate the effects of the fire.
