The company, a leader in the manufacture of commercial jets with up to 150 seats, expects to close 2025 with a total of 77 to 85 commercial jets delivered. Last year, the number was 73. The resources for the loan are from the Exim Pre-shipment financing line, aimed at exporters, with interest rates formed by financial cost, BNDES rate and credit risk rate.

Record orders

According to the president of Embraer, Francisco Gomes Neto, the company is experiencing a record volume of orders and “solid sales momentum”.

“We are making significant investments to meet the growing demand for our products and financing from BNDES is essential to support initiatives that aim to increase production capacity and accelerate deliveries in the coming years,” he said in the bank’s statement.

The president of BNDES, Aloizio Mercadante, highlights the fact that Brazil is part of a “select group” of countries with the capacity to design, manufacture and export commercial, executive, defense and agricultural aircraft.
