Embassy of Israel and Jewish community bring social assistance to Río Gatún in Colón

Food, clothing, mattresses, shoes, among other items were donated as social aid by the Israeli embassy and the Jewish community, to children and women living in situations of social vulnerability.

The donation that was received by Pastor Beyra Leguias, on behalf of the God is Faithful Ministry, was delivered to residents of sector 2 of Río Gatún in the province of Colón

Pastor Leguias expressed her gratitude for all the help received, which will benefit humble families in the sector and children and women who have been abused receive support to improve their quality of life.

For his part, Eli Fashka, president of the Panama-Israel Chamber of Commerce, stated that this support is the way to share and remunerate the work they do through their church to families and especially to children by providing them with educational spaces, entertainment so that in the future they are good men and women.

Likewise, Salvador Aviad, president of the Panama-Israel Cultural Institute, indicated that for the Jewish community and the Israeli embassy chaired by Ambassador Itai Bardov, it is always gratifying to bring support to communities in various parts of the country.

In the small gathering where the families tasted Israeli sweets, they were also present: Sarit Gold Bardov, in charge of culture of the embassy; Salvador Aviad, president of the Panama-Israel Cultural Institute and embassy staff.
