Embassy of China delivers contribution to support victims of Las Tejerías

The ambassador of the People’s Republic of China accredited in Venezuela, li baorongmade a contribution of nearly 200 thousand dollars, as a gesture of support and solidarity of the Asian people, in the face of the tragedy caused by the landslide in the Las Tejerías community, in the state of Aragua.

From the headquarters of the Foreign Ministry in Caracas, the Head of Diplomacy delivered said resource to the Vice Minister for Asia, the Middle East and Oceania, Capaya Rodriguez,

Li Baorong stressed that both peoples share special feelings, the product of a traditional friendship and brotherhood that unites them.

“In these moments of difficulties, of human and material losses in Las Tejerías, we are sharing this feeling of pain, and for this reason, we decided to offer a donation with which we want to contribute to the recovery of the affected area,” he stressed.

Meanwhile, Deputy Minister Rodríguez thanked the Asian giant for the gesture, on behalf of the Venezuelan people: “I am happy to receive such a special donation from the people of China to the people of Venezuela for the natural disaster that occurred in Las Tejerías.”
