The Venezuelan Embassy in Mexico reported that it accompanies the compatriots injured in the fire in the immigration center in Ciudad Juárezhappened this Monday.
Through his account on the social network Twitter, he pointed out that officials of the diplomatic mission have been present in Ciudad Juárez, Chihuahua, since the day after the incident, which caused the death of 39 migrants and injuries to another 29.
“In the Hospital of the Mexican Institute of Social Security (IMSS) No. 66 we verify the clinical condition of our compatriots,” published the Venezuelan Embassy along with photographs of the visits made.
The diplomatic mission explained that they discussed the medical situation of all the injured with the Delegate of the Mexican Social Security Institute in Chihuahua, Enrique Leobardo Ureña.
“In this health center we were able to talk with the Delegate of the Mexican Social Security Institute in Chihuahua, Enrique Leobardo Ureña, about the clinical situation of all those injured in this unfortunate event,” he said.
Likewise, he informed that the diplomatic officials have verified the health conditions of the compatriots confined in the Hospital of the Mexican Institute of Social Security (IMSS) No. 35 of the City.
“Diplomatic officials from our Embassy in Mexico continue to visit our compatriots who unfortunately were injured in the fire at the facilities of the National Institute of Migration (INM) in Ciudad Juárez, Chihuaha,” he reported.
Subsequently, the diplomatic mission held a meeting with the Secretary of Health of the State Government, Gilberto Baeza Mendoza, in order to review the health status of those affected.
“During the deployment of our team in Chihuahua since last Tuesday, they met with the Secretary of Health of the State Government, Gilberto Baeza Mendoza, to review the health details of each compatriot treated at the health centers in Juárez” , they wrote on the social network.
