Emacruz filed a complaint against the union leaders of the Vega Solví company, who since last night installed a blockade at the entrance to the landfill and prevented the collection trucks from unloading the waste. Likewise, the Departmental Commander of the Police was requested to carry out the respective unlocking.
Andrea Hoyos, manager of Emacruz, explained that the complaint is against the seven main leaders of the Vega Solví unionwho are demanding that the contracts of the new company be expedited that the service was awarded as of December 26.
“They were informed that once the company signs the contract with Emacruz, the administrative process will just begin. This happened on Friday and only on Monday did the hiring begin“, said Hoyos, from the main entrance of the Special Force to Fight Crime, where he went to file the complaint.

According to the manager’s version, there is an intransigent position of the workerssince the leaders instead of lifting the blockade, “They begin to demand other additional things,” he remarked.
He added that “they are attacking the health of the entire city. We have presented the complaint to the Felcc and now we go with a letter to the Departmental Commander of the Police to help us with the unblocking”, he stressed.
He also clarified that for now, the sweeping, washing, cleaning of the fair and events is being carried out, “the only thing we have hindered is the pick up because the fleet of trucks is full, waiting to download rubbish in the dump”.
Meanwhile, the workers remain at the entrance to the landfill, despite the fact that a group of police officers went to the place and asked them to lift the measure of pressure.
