The spokesperson for Popular Action, Elvis Vergaraindicated that he does not agree with granting the confidence vote to the Cabinet presided over by Héctor Valer, due to the questions that exist against him.
In dialogue with Canal N, he said that the issue has not yet been discussed with other members of his bench and that he hopes that they will make an organic decision soon.
“We expressed our dissatisfaction for this person [Héctor Valer]has repeated complaints to the Ethics Commission, so this worries us, We know that the appointment of ministers is the responsibility of the president, he has to do it with the country in mind. We as a bench have not met to discuss this issue, that will be in the following days “, he asserted.

“I am very concerned about the appointment of the PCM and other ministers, but it makes me very sad because there are some ministers who are good. I do not agree with giving the vote of confidence, but that will be decided by the majority of the bench, it will be a block vote, my intention is not to give it to them “, he added.
The new Cabinet of Ministers must appear before the plenary session of Congress to request the investiture vote within 30 days after being sworn in.
So far, the Fuerza Popular and Avanza País benches have announced that they will not investiture the Cabinet, while Renovación Popular announced that it would promote a vacancy motion against President Pedro Castillo.
