Elon Musk strikes back at Twitter

Tycoon Elon Musk filed a countersuit against Twitter on Friday after the company denounce for rescinding an agreement to buy the social network for about 44,000 million dollars, collects CNBC.

The judicial statement was delivered in the courts of the state of Delaware (USA), where the case is being carried out, although its content remains secret. Under court rules, a partially redacted version could be available as soon as next week.

According to JB Heaton, an investment researcher and former corporate lawyer, the content of the document was not revealed because it includes information that Twitter shared with the richest man in the world under a confidentiality agreement.

According to The Wall Street Journal, citing According to sources familiar with the matter, the countersuit is expected to accuse the social media company of failing to respond to Musk’s requests about the number of spam accounts on the platform.

Meanwhile, Twitter’s lawsuit against the CEO of Tesla was fixed this Thursday for a five-day trial beginning Oct. 17 in Delaware.
