The Mexico City Attorney General’s Office indicated that the minor will meet with her parents shortly.
Before, the minor’s parents criticized that the Mexico City Prosecutor’s Office released images of the day her disappearance was reported.
Before being located, the minor had been seen for the last time on November 15, in the streets of the Álvaro Obregón mayor’s office.
Upon arriving this Saturday at the facilities of the Mexico City prosecutor’s office to meet with its owner Ernestina Godoy, before the minor was found, Elizabeth’s parents stated that the images released by the authorities did little to contribute to the investigations.
They insisted that Elizabeth did not voluntarily absent herself, as the prosecutor Ernestina Godoy assured, since she was taken off the school bus in a place that is not her home.
“It cannot be possible that they have many lines of investigation and they (the prosecutor’s office) leave with which they take away responsibility, we believe that they left alone, so why don’t they say that the driver (of the school transport) left the girl in a place that was not your home? The girl does not know how to walk on the street and therefore, the girl is lost,” said César Andres Cabrera.
Elizabeth’s parents assured that in the meeting they held with the prosecutor, they again demanded that the school transportation administrator, identified as Sharon, and the driver be arrested for their lack of responsibility for the care of the students.
“It is rude for us that apart from the pain we go through because our daughter is not with us, we have to come to deal with these people (the authorities) who do not feel this pain, we come because we want all the help possible,” said the father. .
In view of the statements by prosecutor Ernestina Godoy, regarding the fact that brigades of investigative agents went to the Álvaro Obregón mayor’s office to look for Elizabeth, the minor’s parents stated that the only brigades there were those of relatives and not of authorities.
