Álvarez de Toledo is also a Spanish journalist, historian and professor.
The president of the Panamanian Association of Business Executives (Apede), Elisa Suárez, provided details on Tuesday about the event entitled “Strengthening Constitutionality and democratic principles to combat populism in defense of business and individual freedoms.”
He explained that for this activity that takes place annually, they have invited Cayetana Álvarez de Toledo, who is a Spanish journalist, politician, historian and professor. “She is one of the most controversial politicians because of the way she expresses her ideas,” Suárez said.
She added that she is a defender of free enterprise and democracy.
